Signpost Words | ‘FANATICAL REFORMS’
Some Observations |
Root and branch reformation always leads to decisions and death. Here, there is no indication that God was against the gender neutral execution of the treasonous in the land, who refused to whole heartedly follow the God of Israel. Indeed, God blessed this whole hearted cleansing and rededication of the covenant people. Go figure.
A Call To Action |
Christians from every nation, tribe and tongue live under the Theocracy of King Jesus. Presently, murder and treason which leads to the death of fellow countrymen, are the only crimes which carry a capital punishment price tag. When King Jesus returns, with a ‘Rod of Iron’ He shall judge the nations. Now, He is judging His church

Highlight Verses | 2 Chronicles 15:10-15
So they gathered together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa. And they offered to the Lord at that time seven hundred bulls and seven thousand sheep from the spoil they had brought. Then they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul; and whoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. Then they took an oath before the Lord with a loud voice, with shouting and trumpets and rams' horns. And all Judah rejoiced at the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and sought Him with all their soul; and He was found by them, and the Lord gave them rest all around. NKJV
