EVENING | PAULINE EPISTLES | BOOK 52 of 66 | 1 THESSALONIANS 5
Signpost Words | ‘THE EARS OF THE HOLY’
Some Observations |
All Christians are Gospel workers. They are awake. A worker works for reward and does so in the light of the coming and dreadful day of the Lord. Gospel workers, like Nehemiah’s wall builders, labor with the sword and trowel and are full of faith, having a heart full of love and a head full of hope. Only preaching and teaching on the return of Christ to judge the living and the dead will deliver this kind of fervor.
A Call To Action |
Preacher, you are responsible to awaken those who sleep! There has never been such an ignorance and fear around the preaching of the return of Christ that we now have in our day. Christians in the West do not really believe this main and major aspect of Christianity. Therefore, they have no power, therefore, they have no comfort and in the soon to be coming conflict, shall weep what little hope they had down the ignorant drains of their lives. KNOW THIS STUFF!
Signpost Words | ‘THE EARS OF THE HOLY’
Highlight Verses | 1 Thessalonians 5:3-11
But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. NKJV
